72 hours in Berlin

At the end of February we decided to getaway for a long weekend to Berlin, after hearing such amazing things from friends. We were looking forward to a weekend of exploring and learning more about Berlin’s history. Also as a newbie vegan, I’d researched some amazing places offering incredible vegan food!

Roamers – This is definitely not a place you would just stubble upon, it was tucked away down a quiet little street in East Berlin. But it had to be one of the best breakfast i’ve ever eaten, it was so so good and well worth the journey over to it.

Pannierstrasse 64, 12043 Berlin

House of Small Wonder – Even if you only go to this place for the coolest entrance to a restaurant you’ve ever seen its well worth it! The menu was a interesting mix of comfort foods with japanese influences, I had the potato gratin which was so tasty!

Johannisstraße 20, 10117 Berlin

Brammibal’s Donuts – Brammibals is a must if you visit Berlin, regardless of whether your vegan or not these were some of the best donuts i’d ever eaten! Personal favourites were the pumpkin spiced donut and the chocolate, peanut butter, fudge & caramel donut! They also sell bagels which i’m sure would have been amazing to try, if we hadn’t been so greedy and ate over half our body weight in donuts!

Maybachufer 8, 12047, Berlin

Photoautomats – These old fashioned photo booths are dotted all over Berlin. If you plan to travel around the city during your stay its more than likely you will come across one! But be warned they are so fast, hence why there’s no evidence of our photo strip!

Berliner Dom – This is a must during your stay in Berlin! The Cathedral is an incredible piece of architecture.
